Yes. ZAPPY operates within the regulatory framework established by the Central Bank of Brazil for PIX payment processing, adhering to all security, operational, and data protection requirements.
PIX Payments
PIX payments are settled in up to 10 seconds, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Your application receives a webhook notification the moment the payment is confirmed.
ZAPPY supports receiving payments (PIX In) via dynamic QR codes, sending transfers (PIX Out) to any PIX key or bank account, and processing full or partial refunds — all through a unified REST API.
Yes. The API generates unique dynamic QR codes for each payment request, with embedded amount, description, and configurable expiration time. Customers scan the code in their banking app to complete the payment.
No. PIX payments are irrevocable once confirmed by the Central Bank. This eliminates the chargeback risk that is common with credit card payments, providing greater financial certainty for merchants.
Automatic PIX
Automatic PIX is a recurring payment method built on the PIX instant payment system. It allows businesses to collect payments on a scheduled basis with the payer's explicit consent, managed entirely through the Central Bank's infrastructure.
Payers can authorize recurring payments through two methods: approving a notification in their banking app or scanning a QR code that contains the recurring payment terms. Both methods require explicit consent within the banking app.
Yes. Payers can cancel their consent at any time directly through their banking app. The business receives an immediate webhook notification when cancellation occurs. Businesses can also cancel consent through the ZAPPY API.
When a scheduled charge fails, ZAPPY sends a webhook notification with failure details. The business can then take appropriate action, such as retrying the charge, notifying the customer, or adjusting the subscription status.
Technical & Integration
The ZAPPY API uses JWT (JSON Web Token) authentication. You generate a token with your API credentials, include it in the Authorization header of each request, and manage token renewal before expiration.
ZAPPY sends webhook notifications for all key events: PIX payment confirmed, payment failed, refund processed, Automatic PIX consent approved, consent cancelled, recurring charge processed, and recurring charge failed.
ZAPPY supports Basic Auth and JWT for webhook authentication. Configure your preferred method in the dashboard or API. Every webhook notification includes authentication credentials so your endpoint can verify the notification source.
Yes. ZAPPY provides a complete sandbox environment where you can test API integrations, simulate PIX transactions, validate webhook delivery, and verify your implementation before going live.
